Can i wear aftershave as cologne?

I was browsing through the cologne selection at the local drugmart when i came across a really good scent (Nautica Voyage).
I soon realized it wasnt mens cologne…it was mens aftershave.
Is it okay to wear aftershave as cologne? Will it ruin my clothes at all?
